Fork the Record Terms of Use

Effective August 23, 2026

Personal nutrition tracking

Fork the Record provides tools for personal food and macro tracking. It is not medical advice, a diagnostic service, or a substitute for a qualified clinician or registered dietitian. Food recognition, portion estimates, nutrition databases, goal calculations, and activity adjustments can be inaccurate. You are responsible for reviewing entries before saving them.

Subscriptions

Fork the Record Plus is an auto-renewable subscription purchased through Apple. The App Store displays the current price, billing period, trial eligibility, and renewal terms before purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple Account. Unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, the subscription renews automatically. You can manage or cancel it in your Apple Account subscription settings. Apple handles billing and refund requests.

Free features and included trial usage may change in future versions, but confirmed local history will not be held behind a subscription paywall.

Acceptable use

You may use Fork the Record for personal, lawful purposes. Do not attempt to abuse the analysis service, bypass usage limits, extract service credentials, interfere with availability, or submit content you do not have the right to process.

Availability and changes

Cloud recognition depends on third-party services and may be unavailable, delayed, rate-limited, or changed. Manual logging remains the fallback. Features, supported foods, and service providers may change as Fork the Record develops.

Disclaimer and limitation

Fork the Record is provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. No guarantee is made that estimates or services will be error-free. To the extent permitted by law, liability arising from use of the app is limited to the amount paid for Fork the Record during the previous twelve months.

Apple terms

Use of the iOS app is also subject to Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement.
